Carnival cruise pt 2
The Carnival Cruise Dream is very nice.
The lido deck has a movie screen, two pools, and a tiny kiddy pool play place.
They have a mini golf course, and a small track but those are so windy.
We ate in the Scarlet room for dinner. Our server was real slow and never came back, so we only ate in the dining room twice. The food was ok in the dining room. I had heard so much about how great the food is, and how you can get as much as you want. I am a foodie so I was excited for some good food. I was very disappointed in the food on the cruise.
The food in the buffet area was ok. I like the omelet station and mongolian barbecue section. That food was fresh and good. I liked the section where you could get Indiand food and the pizza place.
The room service was good you just had to tip for room service. The food was included in the cruise price.
I was not impressed with the desserts either.
We did eat at the steak place which is an extra fee per person, and it was totally worth it. For the extra price you get amazing food. That is what I expected on the rest of the ship. You get a starter, salad, main dish, side, and dessert at the steak place. The food was honestly amazing. We did that several nights.
We went to see an adult comedian show and it was good. We went and saw a regular show the first night and it was ok. We did not see any others.
Our time was spent relaxing. We went to the hot tubs on the side of the ship and rested in our room. We turned on the tv for 30 minutes the whole week. We sat out on the balcony and had some wine.
I did play in the casino a bit and that was nice also.

Carnival Cruise pt.1
We just went on a Carnival Cruise in May. We went on a 7 day cruise. It was amazing. I am going to post about it in several posts. It was an awesome trip and there is a lot to mention.
We were on the Carnival Dream. It was a seven day cruise that went to Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Martin.
Before we went on the cruise we had never been on one. We wanted something different and fun. I had never thought about where we would want to stay on the boat or anything. I now realize there are a lot of things to look at.
We ended up getting an amazing room, but honestly I did not know if would be.
We were on deck 2 which is just above the water. It was awesome. We had a cove balcony. It is right above the water, so you are right there. You can see the water moving and it was amazing. The balcony part has metal around it, I think it is nice a private. It is shaded also. So nice and relaxing. The other balconies are up higher and you are no where near the water, and when you look down you see stuff from the ship. The lower ones are right on the water and much nicer. The higher ones are really hot also and not shaded.
we were mid ship which was nice also. I noticed at dinner in the back of the boat you could feel so much shaking. I think mid ship was amazing. Also I would stay away from the elevator so it is not noisy. I heard other people complain that the lido deck was right above them, and they were woken up at 5 am with people moving chairs and noise. I had not thought about it, but I would check and see what is above and below your room before you book it also.
I will post more about food and functions on the ship tomorrow.

I am back
I have been off for a bit, but I am back. I am going to post about all of my vacations and spots. I love to vacation and want to check out a lot of new places. I have went on several new vacations, and am excited to post about them. Stay tuned.

Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is pretty cool.
They close earlier than the rest of the parks.
They have a cool ride it's tough to be a bug. It is a little show that involves you. They have alot of cool animals and some zoo type stuff. They have a cool safari ride that we really enjoy.
It is a cool park for people who enjoy the animals.

Disney Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is amazing. I love it.
I love peter pan, pooh, it's a small world, dumbo, and all of the amazing rides. There is something for everyone.
I love the carousel of progress ride where it takes you through all of the different years, and what the progress of technology. There are character meet and greet everywhere. You are bound to run into someone. The parades that they have through the day and at night are awesome. The shopping is a lot of fun also. There are a couple of rides a little to scary for me, but everyone else enjoys them.

Disney Epcot
Epcot is one of our favorites. We enjoy the part with the rides, but more enjoy the country section.
They have all different countries, and you are able to see clothes, toys, restaurants, and many other things of each country. The children can make a mask and then stop at every country and decorate it more for each country. We ate at a pizza place in Italy. It was pretty good. We just enjoy walking around the different countries and looking at everything.
There is a little place called club cool at Epcot, and I think that might be our favorite. You can try different sodas from all the different countries and mix them around if you would like. It was redone in the last few years but it is nice especially when it is hot out.
We always ride spaceship earth ride. It looks like a giant golf ball, and the ride inside is pretty neat. They have updated this ride also. There is a ride also that takes you through living off the earth and new ways to grow veggies and stuff. There is a lot to do in the ride section as well.
Epcot is a great place and it is pretty large. We spend a lot of time there.

Walt Disney Florida, dowtown disney and pleasure island
Downtown Disney is a lot of fun and shopping.
They have a ton of stores. The disney stores but others also. They have people doing Character sketches that are fun to watch. They have some dessert places. They have a lego store with lots of legos and outside you can build things. They have designs made out of legos that are cool, and they changed them all the time. They have some yummy restaurants.
They have Disney Quest. We got in with our park tickets, but you can pay seperate for entry. When you walk in you get into an elevator and there is a show while you ride to the proper floor. It is at least 4 floors. There are fun things on different floors. Most everything is free. They have the old school video games, lots of cool games like you would play at Chuck E Cheese, they have rides, a design place, and they have a cafe with a internet cafe.
It is a lot of fun for young and older kids and even parents.
My older and younger child both like it. We went there almost every evening. You can get there on a bus from your resort.
Pleasure Island is the adult area of downtown. You can walk through the strip with kids, but it is mostly bars and clubs. It seems to be a very nice night life for the parents.
